Pic Of The Day...!

Took a few years back from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We were headed down to climb the prominent rock formation in the photo. Ended up off route, and defeated after two heinous pitches of crappy, sandy 5.10 climbing.

Returned a year later and climbed the route proper. Look for a summit shot from that expedition tomorrow!

So.. my MS VPC .vdh has been flaky as of late, so I'd like
to jump in and try VMWare Player. I grab their download,
install in relatively short order, then start looking for
already built 'virtual' machines. I find a promising
SuSE Linux one over at kde.org.. but OMG, it takes
*forever* to pull down at a paltry 30Kb/sec.

It's done now.. I can head to dinner at last.. stay
tuned tomorrow to see if it actually works or not.
